Gum-eze  (Maxillary Epithesis)

Technique: 

A. Survey and Blockout extreme undercuts in interproximals. 

B. Duplicate master model.   

C. Wax labial contours to simulate an esthetic gingival.

D. Invest in flask.

E. Inject with Flexite Supreme (flexible nylon thermoplastic).

F. Finish to gingival contours. 

G. Completed Gum-eze on master cast.

Advantages of using Flexite for Gum-eze

No matter how accurate the blockout may be there are always 

interproximal areas that can be tucked in for maximum retention.  

The interproximal tips can be adjusted with a heat gun.  Flexite 

Supreme is a nylon thermoplastic and can be adjusted accordingly.
